Desigual opens in Melbourne

Australians may know the Spanish fashion brand Desigual by their unmistakeable colourful and fashion forward designs.

The high street label has now expanded to Melbourne, and their first Australian store launched last week at The Strand Melbourne.

Desigual is a global fashion brand that has over 425 stores worldwide, and plans to expand across the major Australian cities during 2015.

The brand produces such distinctive designs that they gather followers with huge brand loyalty, and it was a difficult label to find in Melbourne (until now!).

Melbourne’s launch party unveiled their new line, which recently featured at New York Fashion Week. Supermodel Adriana Lima is the face of the brand.

Shopping at DESIGUAL is like going on an adventure. Their slogan, ‘La Vida es Chula’ (meaning ‘life is cool’) is reflected in the clothing. Their designs are fun and colourful – perfect for summer!
