Gin lovers rejoice, Melbourne is hosting its first-ever gin festival this weekend and you’re invited to join the shenanigans! Set alongside the gorgeous Yarra River, Juniperlooza will take over Pilgrim Bar and Riverland Bar this weekend (November 28 and November 29), with 13 gin producers showcasing signature gin cocktails as well as classic G+Ts.
Gin pop-ups will be complemented by gin inspired menus at Bad Frankie, Gin Palace and soon-to-launch Bang Bang, and Popstic Icecream will really turn up the heat with its gin infused sorbets that mimic the taste of our favourite cocktails – Southside, Negroni and Singapore Sling.
Entertainers will rove the riverside hot spot throughout the afternoon and if that wasn’t enough, Bass & Flinders Distillery, will host a gin masterclass on Saturday afternoon where festival goers will be able create their very own gin!
Pre-sale tickets for Saturday have already sold out (no surprises there) however there’s still tickets left for Sunday at www.pilgrimbar.com.au.
Limited tickets will be available on the day for purchase so get in early to avoid disappointment.
