The Emerson’s renowned and well frequented rooftop has transformed into a stunningly visual Asian paradise, thanks to the ever talented and creative Susie Wong, with a ‘Winter in Asia‘ series.
For those of you who haven’t ventured out during Melbourne’s cold winter nights, this right here is sure to bring you outdoors and into what’s set to be a 6 week-long hot spot.
A brilliant and clever collaboration between The Emerson and Susie Wong, this 6 week take-over is set to replace the regular (Emerson Rooftop) menu with south-east Asian and Japanese dishes.
Foodies, be prepared for some winning dishes.
We’re talking about things like Teppanyaki grilled King Prawn served with NaHM JiM Jaew on Vermicelli Noodles (pictured), Shitake and Water Chestnut Dumplings with Shitake Soy and as for the deserts, you’ll just have to see them yourselves (we don’t want to ruin ALL the surprises).
If you’re worried about the cold, The Emerson Rooftop is completely enclosed and they’re not shy when it comes to cranking the heaters up to keep you toasty, comfortable and warm.
The launch was great, so be sure to head along and check it out for yourself.
Open to the public and Free Entry until Sunday 28th August.
