High Tea in Style at Grand Hyatt

What better way to enjoy a beautiful afternoon with your girls, than at a stylish High Tea in one of our most iconic places in the city. Grand Hyatt Melbourne have collaborated with Cristina Re to bring the ultimate experience in Melbourne, with their High Tea in Style.

I had the pleasure of being invited along to the Collins Street hotel with my beautiful Mumma on the weekend and can honestly say, that it was the most luxurious afternoon tea we have ever had the pleasure of enjoying!

Set in the warmth of Collins Kitchen, High Tea in Style begins with a glass of Chandon sparkling wine and a traditional tiered platter, filled with a delicious selection of bites including finger sandwiches, golden pastries and warm scones served with jam and cream.

Next we were invited to head over to the savoury cooking station, to discover freshly baked mini lamb pies, easy couchettes, crab profiteroles, pork belly buns and savoury tarts.

The team of talented chef’s ensured the selection was fresh and piping hot, for all the guests to keep coming back for more, more, more!

And then comes the dessert buffet!

Filled with exquisite sweet creations including pastel macarons, hot off the press pancakes, an ice cream scooping bay, fresh fruit, edible confectionary mushrooms and a seriously wicked chocolate fondue foundation.
