The anticipation was buzzing for the launch of the MFW and the chance to have a birds eye view of some premier fashion designers at the Emporium Opening Runway. With flowers adorning the runway, the rain stayed away for the perfect Melbourne evening to show off the latest in the fashion world.
The launch runway gave us a hint of what to wear this season. The feel of the runway was sophistication and glamour with luxurious fabrics and flattering cuts.

The colours were bright, with red, orange and yellow bouncing along side vibrant blues, silver and gold. Black and white were also on show, all exhibiting the true taste and style of Melbourne.
The runway designs included skirts and dresses that were floor length or mini, flattering cuts and interesting fabrics, layering styles, sophisticated jumpsuits, bold colours with black and tailored jackets either fitted or oversized.
I suggest heading into Emporium Melbourne and having a look around, and I am sure you will find a style of your own that is perfect for the fashion trends of Melbourne.
