This morning I headed along to Short Straw cafe in Hawthorn for the launch of the Melbourne Foodie Guide.
Created by our dynamo writer Pia Therese (woohoo, you go girl), the MFG is a simple, delicious healthy eating guide designed for busy Melbourne women who want to eat well and make smart, delicious food choices when dining out in the foodie mecca that is Melbourne.
Over brunch at the gorgeous cafe tucked alongside of Glenferrie Road, I mingled with fellow bloggers and influencers from the fitness, lifestyle and fashion realms, and listened to Pia chat about her journey as ‘the Real Body Coach’ and founder of Melbourne Fitness and Wellbeing, to creating the brand new guide and what it means to her to be finally launching her baby!
The guide gives you home-cooked delicious meals, plus it also recommends not only where to eat out in Melbourne, for brunch and dinner; but also what to order. Because I am all about balance and believe that health is more than just nourishing the body; I believe it’s also about nourishing the soul, I have included a (growing) list of places for you and your Melbourne Foodie friends, to not only enjoy a yummy meal, but also enjoy a sneaky glass of grapes.
The e-book has been created in two parts:
Melbourne Foodie Cooks – simple, easy to create recipes that won’t take you hours or hundreds of ingredients to create.
Melbourne Foodie Eats – VIP access to a growing list of highly recommended Melbourne based cafes and restaurants, and what to order off the menu to keep you on track towards your health and fitness goals!
This guide has been created to help Melbourne women find a healthy, balanced lifestyle that allows them to still indulge in the food and culture that makes Melbourne so fantastic.
Pia believes that every woman should aspire to have a ‘real’ body by focusing on a realistic, healthy and balanced lifestyle. Looking after yourself through exercise and healthy eating, while being able to enjoy a meal with friends while immersing yourself in the Melbourne food and culture scene.
Through the Melbourne Foodie Guide, Pia wants to help others realise this balance is achievable.
Sounds like an absolute winner in my books! Check it out now > melbournefoodieguide.com.au
