It’s one of my favourite times of the year to be a Bonds blogger. Where celebrating our babies and all the love and happiness they bring to our lives is a number one priority as a mum.
Step inside Milla’s nursery, on a behind the scenes tour I did with Bonds to help launch this year’s baby search.
Providing a loving, safe and warm home space for my kids is first and foremost the most important thing, but being able to insert some creativity into their bedroom spaces is fun too.
Milla’s nursery has evolved over the past 12 months, it was full of gender neutral tones before she was born (as her sex was a surprise) so the base of the styling is still black, white and grey.
I’ve slowly added some pastel touches including the Eef Lillemor prints I mounted in IKEA frames and the wooden names blocks, which are great for play and display.
Features in the room include a Miffy Lamp, Dolls Crib and the in-built bookshelf with a name print (which I designed myself), the Lovestruck ‘M’ letter light and a collection of girly accessories I couldn’t resist buying.
My go-to stores for Kids Interior pieces are Leo and Bella and Wiggles Piggles. I love a Scandinavian approach, where the room is stripped back to basics to achieve a blank canvas, to continue layering with furniture and décor.
