A glamorous staycation at The Langham Melbourne

When Melbourne turns on the sunshine in summer, there’s no better place to be than in the city. On the weekend, I was very lucky to be treated to a night at The Langham, Melbourne and it was the perfect glamorous staycation to capture everything I love about experiencing the world’s most liveable city.

Situated on the Yarra River along Southbank Promenade, The Langham is a luxurious hotel which is the ideal accommodation for a romantic weekend, a girls night, or a holiday with all the family. The hotel was all dressed up for the festive season, with a magnificent Christmas Tree lighting up the main foyer and decorations scattered across all 25 floors.

We checked in for one of the best weekends we’ve had weather wise this summer in Melbourne and despite the urge to just stay in my PJs the whole stay (curled up on the gorgeous king size bed with a champers and a great read), we headed out and about, to soak up some of the glorious sunshine and grab a cocktail at the pop up Arbory Afloat.

The views of the city skyline from our Deluxe River Room were incredible. We could see all the way down the river towards the MCG and our window overlooked the historic Flinders Street Station and over the festivities happening at Federation Square.
