Sugar Republic dessert museum pops up in Fitzroy

Sugar Republic dessert museum pops up in Fitzroy - Melbourne

Dear Melbourne Winter, if you are looking for me, I’ll be floating on ice creams in pink ball pits, eating fairy floss and wizz fizz, and being showered by confetti bombs at Sugar Republic, a pop up dessert museum which opens it’s doors to the public this Friday for 8 weeks only!

The museum is dedicated to the celebration of dessert, baking, lollies and all things sweet. Go on a journey through 14 amazing sensory rooms and relive your childhood as you splash about in a massive bubblegum ball pit, climb a sherbet rainbow and make yourself the ultimate soft serve ice cream with ALL the sprinkles.

Giant Birthday Cake - Melbourne Dessert Museum

Earlier this week I was invited to have a sneak peak of the pop up on Smith Street in Fitzroy. Without too many SPOILER ALERTS there’s a swing surrounded by fairy floss, you can dance inside a giant gum ball machine and even jump out of a life size birthday cake.

Sugar Republic’s interactive experiences and wonder-filled art installations are sooooo much fun.
