VAMFF
March 14-22
The Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival is an annual celebration of fashion, beauty, business and creative endeavour for everyone to enjoy.

Flemington Grazing Trail & Cellar Door

The famous Flemington front lawns and rose gardens will come alive with an incredible selection of the very best boutique wineries, breweries and producers Victoria has to offer. Foodies and wine lovers can enjoy tastings from exhibitors in a unique cellar door atmosphere.

Cirque du Soleil, TOTEM
Running until Sunday 29 March
Totem is a touring show by Cirque du Soleil that premiered in 2010 and is now playing under the blue and yellow Big Top at Flemington Racecourse.
The show traces the fascinating journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. The cast features 45 performing artists from 16 countries specialising in many breathtaking acrobatic acts.
Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show
Wednesday 25 March – Sunday 29 March, 2015
The Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show (MIFGS) returns for its 20th year with a burst of blooms in 2015 at the Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens.
As the largest horticultural event in the Southern Hemisphere, MIFGS sees some of Australia’s best landscape designers, florists and suppliers decorate the heritage-listed site with incredible displays attracting more than 110,000 visitors annually.
Relaxed Racing

Relaxed Racing allows racegoers to enjoy all the style and glamour that comes with a day at the races but with a unique, casual dress code.

Strictly Ballroom the Musical
Running until the end of May, 2015
The fabulous new production of Strictly Ballroom the Musical will have audiences dancing in the aisles at Her Majesty’s Theatre.
Based on the much-loved Australian film and directed by Baz Luhrmann, Strictly Ballroom the Musical features classic songs from the film including Love is in the Air and Time after Time, as well as some wonderful new songs by artists such as Eddie Perfect and Sia.
Melbourne Food and Wine Festival
Running until Sunday 15 March
Melbourne Food and Wine Festival will take a journey to new frontiers of flavour with amazing international guests and exciting events.
Food and wine lovers in their hundreds and thousands each year indulge in more than 200 events that fill Melbourne’s labyrinthine network of restaurants, laneways, lights-turned-down basements and dizzying rooftops as well as spilling into spectacular regional Victoria.
Summer Night Market
Running until Wednesday 25 March
Emerging designers, artists, musicians and foodies showcase their talents at one of Melbourne’s favourite summer evening events at the Queen Victoria Market.
Moonlight Cinema Melbourne
Running until Sunday 29 March
Moonlight Cinema is Australia’s favourite outdoor cinema, showing advance screenings, new release and cult movies on the Central Lawn at Royal Botanic Gardens.

Melbourne International Comedy Festival
25 March – 9 April 2015
The Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF) is the third-largest international comedy festival in the world and the largest cultural event in Australia.
The Melbourne Town Hall has served as the festival hub since the early 1990s, but a program of stand-up comedy, cabaret, theatre, street performance, film, television, radio and visual arts are held in venues throughout the city.
Melbourne International Design Week
Monday 11 May – Sunday 17 May
Melbourne International Design Week is a celebration of design excellence and highlights the role of design as a catalyst for innovation, linking creativity with business, technology and society.
It has been created to highlight the best of design in the State of Victoria and internationally in order to nurture a strong design culture. Events give everyone the opportunity to be inspired by the benefits of outstanding design for our lives and our economy.
