City dwellers delight, some of our favourite food and design brands are popping up in Fed Square this week as part of a completely new marketplace celebrating small business – Square Market!
Our friends at Market Lane Coffee, Shortstop Coffee & Donuts, Adriano Zumbo, Those Girls and That Dapper Chap will join a wealth of other foodies, emerging artists, homewares designers, illustrators, crafters and buskers, as they take over The Atrium to shake what their mamma gave them aka showcase their amazing goods.
The market is being hosted by global payments tech company Square who are committed to supporting small business and dreamed up this unique retail space “to give back to the heroes who help create this diverse and interesting element of Melbourne’s cultural identity,” said Ben Pfisterer, Square’s Australian Country manager.
What we love most is that no two days at the Square Market will be the same, with different sellers trading on different days to create a constantly changing and evolving marketplace.
Square Market is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from 9–11 March and entry is via The Atrium at Flinders Street, Federation Square. Entry to Square Market is completely free so make sure you stop by to support the small businesses that make Melbourne the amazing place it is.
