Say hello to Australia’s first hip hop yoga studio, Yoga 213, which is now open in Richmond.
If you are after a yoga class that is lighthearted and runs to the beats of new and old school RnB, then Hip Hop yoga is for you.
This funky little studio is tucked upstairs on the corner of Chapel Street and Commercial Road.
Their HIIT class studio set-up is great. The studio walls are decorated with Pilates springboards which were incorporated into the HIIT workout, along with slam balls and a whole lot of moving and shakin’.
I found the gym of my dreams! Initially I thought this Carlisle Street, all-female health club, had up-market written all over it, but FitMiss is completely affordable, in fact I can’t believe what you get considering how little you pay.
It is more than just a gym, it is a Health Club. It lives up to being a health club in every way.
KX Yoga is a cute, yet surprisingly large studio just off Glenferrie Road. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but once you get to the top of the stairs, it opens up into a area where us yogis…or wannabe yogis, can get prepared for our stretch sess.
9Round has just landed in Melbourne and it’s something we have never really seen or experienced before. It is a boxing studio without a timetable. Yep, that’s right, you just rock up and join in whenever you feel like it! The longest you will have to wait is 3 minutes for a round to finish and then you can just jump right in.
Flow After Dark Silent Disco is a special event launched by Stylerunner and Flow Athletic. Put on your headphones and get ready to get in-sync with 300 other silent fitness lovers.
Their first Melbourne event in June was a sellout, so be sure to book your tickets for the August disco asap (click through here to read more).
